I am a PhD student in Philosophy at Florida State University. My main research interests are in emotions, complex developmental trauma, epistemology, moral responsibility, and the relatedness of these topics.

My essay “Fitting Diminishment of Anger: A Permissivist Account” was awarded the Royal Institute of Philosophy 2022 essay prize. It is published in Philosophy. And here is a link to an interview I did about my essay, and about what an incredible experience it was to win the essay prize.

I’ve also written a novel called A Fairytale for Edna that I am currently sharing on this site. It’s a fairytale with an 85 year old protagonist who takes on dragons. My aim is to eventually publish it, but for the time being I wanted to make it public for anyone who’d like to read it.
